Problem Solving Tool – A3 Form
The A3 form is one of the most versatile problem-solving tools in the Lean system. It can be applied to address challenges in virtually any area of work—and even long-standing issues can be resolved through consistent use of the A3 methodology.
Although the A3 method may appear simple at first, developing the skills to apply it effectively in practice can take several months.
The A3 form is not only an excellent tool for strengthening employees’ problem-solving abilities but also enables effective delegation while maintaining control over progress and results.
By promoting structured thinking and constructive communication, the A3 approach positively influences interpersonal relationships and contributes to building a stronger, more collaborative organizational culture.
